Choose the type of data you need: phone, email, phone and email, or full enrichment (phone, email, and household details). Run the list and pay only for matches, at $0.10 for each contact that receives new details.

Phone append for canvassing

A contact's name and address are matched to a phone number, which is added to the contact record. Beacon does not check appended numbers against the national Do Not Call (DNC) registry, so check your own TCPA (federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act) obligations before you call or text.

Email addresses are added to the contact record for longer follow-up, donor receipts, and proposals. Match rates are typically 50 to 70%.

How billing works

Voter data enrichment billing: pay as you go, with no charge when nothing matches

Enrichment is not included in your tier. It is charged by use, shown clearly, and billed only when a match is found. Add funds to the wallet through Stripe, run the list, and matches are added to the contact records.

How a list gets enriched

How voter data enrichment turns raw contacts into a list ready for canvassing

The steps are the same whether you are enriching 500 names or 50,000.

Add funds to the wallet

Add credit through Stripe. Most programs start with $50 to $200. The wallet balance appears on the enrichment screen and carries over from month to month.

Pick the append types

Choose phone, email, phone and email, or full enrichment, then select the contacts to enrich, or enrich your list right after a CSV import.

Run & watch matches

The job runs in the background, and new details are added directly to each record. You are charged only for matches, never for records with no match.

Voter data enrichment questions, answered

Q / 01

How much does voter data enrichment cost?

It costs $0.10 per matched record on every plan, with no monthly minimums and no subscription. Each contact that receives new details is charged once, whichever type of append you choose.

What if no match is found on a contact data append?

You are charged only for matches, so if a phone, email, or demographic record cannot be found for a contact, there is no charge. Phone match rates are typically 60 to 80%, and email 50 to 70%.

Q / 03

Is the phone/email append for canvassing TCPA & DNC compliant?

Not by itself. Beacon does not check appended numbers against the national Do Not Call registry or mark them as cell or landline. You can mark any contact as do not contact in Beacon, and you should check your own TCPA and DNC obligations before you call or text.

Can voter data enrichment run automatically on import?

Not automatically, but you can run it as part of the import. When a CSV import finishes, the import window offers an enrichment step, and the job runs in the background, so reachable contacts have phone numbers and household details before canvassers open the walk list (their assigned addresses).
