Tap a contact and the coach reads their demographics, past dispositions, voter record, neighbor context, and your campaign script — then writes an opener and three to five talking points tailored to that doorstep. Powered by Claude.
— Capabilities
Most "AI for canvassing" is a generic LLM with a generic prompt. The Beacon coach gets handed your campaign script, the contact's enrichment record, and what every previous knock learned about them.
/01 — INPUT
Demographics (age, income, homeownership), voter score and party, prior dispositions and notes, neighbor activity — all fed to the model on each request.
/02 — OUTPUT
The coach writes a personal opener and three to five talking points, framed in the campaign's voice. No generic boilerplate.
/03 — PLACEMENT
"Get AI Talking Points" lives on the mobile door screen. There's also a dedicated coach view with the full profile and the generated script side-by-side.
— On the doorstep
Your canvasser walks up holding a phone that already knows: it's the Hayes household, lead score 92, their neighbor put in panels last summer, last knock six months ago they said the bill was high. The opener writes from there.

— How a coaching call runs
/01
From the walk list or the door screen, tap "Get AI Talking Points." The coach pulls the contact's profile and your campaign script.
/02
The model writes a personal opener and three to five talking points framed in the campaign's voice. Returns in a few seconds over a normal connection.
/03
The script renders on the phone. Read it once before you knock, glance back at it after the disposition. The output is cached locally for offline reread.
/04
The coach learns. Whatever happens at the door — interested, refused, follow-up — feeds the next coaching call to the same contact.
— FAQ
Q / 01
Anthropic's Claude. Real-time talking points use a lower-latency Claude variant; batch tasks like note summarization use a cheaper one. Your data goes through API calls and is never used for model training.
Q / 02
The contact's enriched demographics, past interaction history (dispositions, notes, survey responses), voter data when available, neighbor context, and the campaign's base script and key messages.
Q / 03
Generation requires connectivity — it hits the Claude API. But the most recent talking points for each contact are cached locally, so previously generated coaching is readable offline. A rule-based fallback covers contacts that haven't been coached yet.
Q / 04
Yes. Campaign admins set the base script, key messages, and a tone preference (formal, conversational, persuasive). The coach folds those into every generation.
Q / 05
No. It's included on every Beacon plan, from Starter to Enterprise. No add-on, no per-seat AI fee, no token bucket to babysit.
